Tri-Tec is a special insecticide for horses that repels flies, gadflies, and other parasites for up to 14 days after application. The product contains a particular insect repellent substance called Cypermethrin which, acting by altering the permeability of the membrane of the nerve cells, causes immediate paralysis on the insect. It also contains a sun filter to protect the active ingredients from the degradation of the sun's rays. Avoid spraying the product on the head in the direction of the eyes, nose and mouth.
